Linguistic Heterogeneity: A Framework for Language-in-Education
Indian Multilingualism is unique for it exists beyond mere circulation of multiple languages in the society. We need to shift our focus away from conceptualizing language as a singular, standardized entity, and instead systematize the dynamism of language systems in learning and education. A framework to address this need is necessary, given the growing polarization over regional language in education across various states of India.
